Forward and backward seat adjustment motor, assembly overview

NOTE:

If the motor is faulty, the top support of the seat pan must be replaced → Front seat with faulty forward and backward seat adjustment motor or defective control unit, removing and installing .

1 - Connector

2 - Seat inclination adjustment motor

Removing

Remove seat → Seat, assembly overview .
Attach fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
Attach front seat to fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
Remove control unit → Control unit, removing and installing .

Disconnect connector - 1 -.
Remove bolts - 3 - (2x).
Remove seat inclination adjustment motor - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal.

3 - Bolts (2x)

Tightening torque 10 Nm

4 - Forward and backward seat adjustment motor

5 - Backrest adjustment motor
