Glove compartment (vehicles with knee bolster), assembly overview: Notes

1 - Instrument panel

2 - Instrument panel cover, right

Removing Removing right instrument panel cover

3 - Glove compartment

Removing

Remove instrument panel cover - 2 - Removing right instrument panel cover .
Open glove compartment lid.
Remove three bolts - 4 - in recesses at top of glove compartment - 3 -.
Remove bolts - 5 - (2x) from underneath (footwell).

For vehicles with CD changer - 8 - : Remove bolt - 6 -.
Remove bolts - 9 -.
Vehicles with insulation box: Screw out vent :
Pull out glove compartment downward.

Disconnect connector - 7 - of glove compartment light.
Disconnect connectors to electrical components in glove compartment (if applicable).

4 - Bolts (3x)

Tightening torque 3.5 Nm

5 - Bolts (2x)

Tightening torque 3.5 Nm

6 - Bolt

Tightening torque 5 Nm
Only for vehicles with CD changer

7 - Connector

8 - CD changer

9 - Bolts (2x)
