Roof grab handle, removing and installing

Removing

Open covers - 3 -.
Remove bolts - 2 -.

Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm

Remove roof grab handle - 1 -.

NOTE:

Threaded holes for roof grab handle must be cleaned of locking compound residue after removal. Otherwise, new screws could lock up when installed and shear off when removed again.
They can be cleaned with a thread cutter.
Replace roof grab handle screws (self-locking).

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal.
