Tunnel crossmember, removing and installing

Removing

Remove sound insulation. →
- 50 BODY, FRONT
- 50 - BODY - FRONT for BODY EXTERIOR - CABRIOLET

Remove combi-bolts - arrows -
Support transmission with engine and transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A and a wooden block.

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.
Remove tunnel crossmember

Installing

Tighten combi-bolt - 1 - to 110 Nm + 90 °.

Use new washer and bolt.

Tighten combi-bolt - 2 - to 65 Nm.

Tighten combi-bolts - arrows - to 23 Nm.
Install sound insulation. →
