Loosen lower locking lever and turn upper suspension strut until spring mounting tool V.A.G 1752/2 scale is at 7°.
Ensure ends of spring rest against spring seat and spring support stops.
Lock locking lever.

Spring mounting tool V.A.G 1752/2 arm - arrow - must be aligned with center of mounting bracket.
Release tension on spring tensioner 1752/1 and remove.
Check adjustment, repeat procedure if necessary.

Permissible deviation: ± 2°.
