ABS system components on rear axle (FWD vehicles), removing and installing

1 - Rear brake caliper
- Removing and installing → Brake calipers, servicing
2 - Wheel hub with rotor
- Removing and installing → 42 - REAR SUSPENSION
- Checking rotor
3 - Collar bolt
Vehicle must be standing on the ground when tightening
- Always replace
- Tightening torque → 42 - REAR SUSPENSION
4 - Brake disc
- Always replace both sides
- Remove brake caliper prior to removing
- Allocation → Brakes
- Thickness → Brakes
5 - Wheel bolt
Vehicle must be standing on the ground when tightening
- Installing wheels → 44 - WHEELS, TIRES, VEHICLE ALIGNMENT
6 - Wheel bearing housing
- Removing and installing → 42 - REAR SUSPENSION
7 - Speed sensor
- Left and right identical
- Removing and installing → Speed sensor on rear axle, removing and installing
- Before inserting into wheel bearing housing, lubricate circumference with grease G 000 650
- Press into wheel bearing housing onto stop
- Release speed sensor connector and disconnect. Unclip speed sensor wiring.
8 - Hex socket head bolt
- Tightening torques: 10 Nm
9 - Ribbed bolt, 75 Nm
- Always replace
