Transfer gear oil level, checking

Safety goggles

Condition

Gear oil about 20° C (room temperature)

Work sequence

Drive vehicle onto a four-column hoist or over an inspection pit so that it is absolutely horizontal.
Place drip tray V.A.G 1306 under transmission.

CAUTION: Wear safety goggles.

Remove plug - arrow -.

The oil level must be up to lower edge of filler hole.

Top off with gear oil if necessary; specification → Transfer gear .

NOTE:

The plug with seal must be replaced.

Tighten new plug to 35 Nm.
