Checking freedom of movement of valve ball in piston "B"

- Lightly coat bore for valve ball - arrow - at front side with oil.
CAUTION:
Wear eye protection.
- Charge valve ball from rear with compressed air.
- Only little ball stroke (hardly visible).
- Ball is not spring-loaded (moves back slowly).
If valve ball is stuck:
- Loosen ball with a nail or tip of a ball point pen.
If valve ball is still stuck or leaks:
- Replace piston "B".
NOTE:
- A valve ball that does not seal properly or is stuck will cause slipping in reverse gear.
