Automatic Transmission Fluid Oil Pan: Removing

Transmission Installed

It is also possible to remove and install the ATF pan when the transmission is installed. Depending on the vehicle model and the engine type, additional work may be required to be able to reach the ATF pan. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Transmission Removed

-- The transmission is secured to the engine/transmission holder. Refer to SECURING ON ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .

-- Place the V.A.G 1782 under the transmission.

-- Drain the ATF. Refer to ATF, DRAINING .

-- Diagonally loosen the bolts -1 through 15-.

-- Remove the bolts and the ATF pan.

NOTE:
