Removing The Needle Bearing From The Dual Mass Flywheel

CAUTION:
The dual mass flywheel could be damaged.
- If the dual mass flywheel is supported on the transfer plate -B-, it will distort and be damaged. The dual mass flywheel must then be replaced.
- Always replace the needle bearing after removing from the dual mass flywheel
-- Remove the shaft seal from the dual mass flywheel REMOVING THE SHAFT SEAL FROM THE DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL .
-- Mount the internal puller -A- near the seal -arrow- in the needle bearing and tension it.
A - Internal puller 23.5 to 30 mm, for example Kukko 21/4
-- Then mount the VW 554 on the internal puller and remove the needle bearing.
