Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the hydraulic pump. Refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT (HYDRAULIC PUMP), REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

Before removing, place a cloth or a collector tray under the pump to catch any hydraulic fluid that may leak out.

-- Open and close the fluid filler plug one time to equalize the pressure.

-- Drain the fluid reservoir if necessary.

-- Hold the pump and fluid reservoir upright.

-- Loosen and remove the hose clamp -3-.

-- Remove oil reservoir -1- by lightly turning it off of the valve block -2-.

Do not damage the oil screen -2- in the valve block -1- when doing so.
