Removing Version 2

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING .

-- Remove the connector -1- for the Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- from the retainer.

NOTE:

Ignore items -2 through 4-.

-- Unlock the connectors -1 through 4- and at the same time disconnect all connectors in -direction of arrow- from the ignition coils.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the ignition coils.

-- Carefully remove the ignition coils upward.

NOTE:

Note the installed position of ignition coils with power output stages.

Be careful to not kink or damage the wiring.

-- Remove the spark plugs with the Spark Plug Removal Tool:VAS 3122B .
