Battery Without Visual Indicator

CAUTION:

If the acid level is below the MIN mark, replace the battery. Refer to BATTERY .

-- Make sure the battery and the terminal clamps are secure. Tighten them if necessary. Refer to BATTERY, CHECKING CABLES FOR SECURE SEATING .

-- Check the battery electrolyte level visually.

The electrolyte level must be above the MIN mark.

NOTE:

Use a flashlight to improve visibility when performing an exterior visual inspection of the MIN and MAX markings.

If it is difficult to read the battery: use a small mirror to see the electrolyte level while holding a flashlight at a right angle.
