TV Tuner -R78-, Removing And Installing, Hybrid: Removing

-- Remove the left luggage compartment side trim panel, refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

The Infotainment rack can only be removed once the convertible top hydraulic pump in the luggage compartment is moved.

-- Loosen The Retaining Bracket On The Hydraulic Pump And Necessary Connectors, refer to CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPARTMENT COVER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

They hydraulic lines are not affected. Do not disconnect them.

-- Swivel the hydraulic pump in the luggage compartment.

-- Loosen the nuts -1-, -2-, -3- and -4- on the infotainment rack -6-.

-- Swivel the rack -6- in the luggage compartment.

-- Release and disconnect all connectors to the Radio -R-, TV Tuner -R78- and Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-.

-- Insert the Fiber-Optic Repair Set - Connector Protective Caps :VAS6223/9 -1- onto the MOST bus connector -2-.

-- Remove the rack from the luggage compartment.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -3- from the TV Tuner -R78- -2-.
