TIPTRONIC Switch, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the driver airbag, refer to AIRBAG UNIT WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG / OVERVIEW - STEERING WHEEL .

-- Remove the decorative ring from the steering wheel.

-- Push the multifunction button -2- out of the steering wheel in direction of -arrow-.

-- Turn the button over.

-- Disconnect and remove the connector -2- from the multifunction button -1-.

-- Remove the screw -arrow- and remove the tiptronic switch to the rear.

-- Remove the trim panel with the multifunction button, refer to 4-SPOKE STEERING WHEEL MULTIFUNCTION BUTTONS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (4-Spoke Steering Wheel), 3-SPOKE STEERING WHEEL MULTIFUNCTION BUTTONS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (3-Spoke Steering Wheel).

-- Remove the bolt -2- on the steering wheel -1- and remove the tiptronic switch -3- with connector cable to the rear.
