-- Remove the convertible top compartment cover. Refer to CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPARTMENT COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left and right luggage compartment trim panels. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .

-- Remove the side convertible top compartment trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS , Overview - Luggage Compartment Trim Panels

-- Left: Remove the hydraulic pump and move it to the side with the wires still connected. Refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT (HYDRAULIC PUMP), REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Press the release, disconnect the connector -1- and remove it from the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Cut the cable tie on the hydraulic cylinder from the convertible top compartment cover side.

-- Push the expanding pins -2- in direction of -arrow- and remove the wiring harness cable channel -1- on the hinge.

-- Open the clip -2- on the hydraulic cylinder with a screwdriver -1- and pull it out to the side.

-- Unclip the clip -3- using the :80-200 .

-- "Close" the hinge and remove the screws -arrows-.

-- Remove the convertible top compartment hinge -1-.

-- Remove the clip -2- and remove the bolt from the hinge from the opposite side.

-- Remove the hydraulic cylinder from the mount on the hinge with the wires still connected.
