Inner Tail Lamp, Removing And Installing, Led: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR LID TAIL LAMPS, LED .

NOTE:

Make sure the seal between the body and tail lamp housing seals correctly.

-- Position the inner tail lamp on the outer edge of the rear lid.

-- Slide the clamping bracket -3- onto the inner tail lamp threaded pins and install the nut -4- loosely.

-- Slide the large clamping bracket -1- onto the threaded pins on the inner tail lamp and tighten the nuts -2- and -4-.

NOTE:

When tightening the nuts, the clamping bracket wedges itself onto the rear lid -arrows-.

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

Tightening specification. Refer to TIGHTENING SPECIFICATION AND SEQUENCE FOR THE INNER TAIL LAMP .

NOTE:

Make sure the seal between the body and tail lamp housing seals correctly.

-- Slide the clamping brackets -1, 4, 5- onto the inner tail lamp threaded pins and turn the nuts -2, 3, 6- 3 turns.

-- Position the inner tail lamp on the outer edge of the rear lid so that the clamping bracket audibly engages.

-- Tighten the nuts. Refer to TIGHTENING SPECIFICATION AND SEQUENCE FOR THE INNER TAIL LAMP .

NOTE:

When tightening the nuts, the clamping bracket wedges itself onto the rear lid -arrows-.
