Headlamp, Removing And Installing, Hid Headlamp: Removing

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Do not press the flasher.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -4-.

-- Remove the bolts -2- and -5-.

-- Loosen the lower bolt -3- on the headlamp housing using a long wrench.

NOTE:

Disregard items -6 and 7-.

-- Remove headlamp -1- toward the front and out of the body.

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Do not press the flasher.

-- Remove The Front Bumper Cover. Refer To FRONT BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 4-.

-- Remove the bolt -3- and remove the adjusting mechanism from the headlamp housing.

-- Loosen the screws -arrows- a few turns from the headlamp housing.

-- Remove the headlamp -5- toward the front from the body.

The ventilation hose may need to be removed from the bracket to do this depending on the date of manufacture.
