Center Console, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front ashtray. Refer to FRONT ASHTRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the convertible top operation switch/window regulator central switch mount. Refer to CONVERTIBLE TOP OPERATION SWITCH/WINDOW REGULATOR CENTRAL SWITCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Vehicles with a 12V outlet: disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 3-.

-- Vehicles with a front center armrest: remove the front center armrest. Refer to FRONT CENTER ARMREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Vehicles without a front center armrest: remove the center console cover (refer to CENTER CONSOLE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and nuts -1-.

-- Vehicles with a telephone/cell phone: disconnect the connectors.

-- Lift the center console and remove it toward the rear out of the instrument panel and over the selector lever/gearshift lever.
