Right/Left Front Seat Ventilation Control Module -J799- / -J800- (Integrated Seat Heating Function), Removing And Installing: Removing

Follow all safety precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition turned on. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to POWER FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Attach the front seat to the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the Right Front Seat Ventilation Control Module -J799- /Left Front Seat Ventilation Control Module -J800- -item 1- by pressing the release -arrow-.

-- Release the tab -arrow 1- using the :3409 .

-- Tilt the control module out of the bracket -arrow 2-.

-- Disengage the control module tab -arrow 3- on the bracket.

-- Remove the control module.
