Entry Assistance Release Cable B, Removing And Installing: Removing

- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.
-- Remove The Front Seat:
- Standard seat and sport seat (manual). Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL .
-- Attach the front seat to the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .
-- Move the backrest all the way forward using the handwheel.
-- Disengage the >>entry assistance<< release cable B eyelet on the pin -arrow- for the seat forward/back adjustment.
-- Disengage the >>entry assistance<< release cable B -3- from the retaining plate on the seat forward/back adjuster -1-.
NOTE:
Ignore -item 2-.
-- Push The Cushion To The Side.
-- Disengage the eyelet on >>entry assistance<< release cable B -1- from the pin -arrow- on the backrest hinge.
-- Disengage the retainer for >>entry assistance<< release cable B on the backrest hinge and remove >>entry assistance<< release cable B.
