Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Removing And Installing: Removing

Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Remove The Front Seat:

Standard seat and sport seat (manual). Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL .

-- Attach the front seat to the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the tunnel-side trim. Refer to TUNNEL-SIDE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD SEAT, SPORT SEAT, SUPER SPORT SEAT .

-- Move the backrest all the way forward using the handwheel.

-- Remove the >>entry assistance<< release cable A guide -2- from the seat frame.

-- Disengage the >>entry assistance<< release cable A -1- from the backrest hinge.

-- Disengage the >>entry assistance<< release cable A support bracket -2- from the retaining plate on the seat forward/back adjuster -1-.

Ignore -3- and -arrow-.
