Backrest Release Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the backrest release support plate. Refer to ENTRY ASSISTANCE SUPPORT PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Wear Protective Eyewear!

-- Drill out the rivets -1- on the backrest frame -2-.

-- Remove the entry assistance cover. Refer to ENTRY ASSISTANCE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL .

-- Unclip the end of the release cable -2-.

-- Press the end of the release cable out of the bracket -1- in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Remove the bracket from the backrest frame.
