Backrest Heating Element, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the cover with the cushion from the rear seat backrest. Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Disconnect the cover from the cushion (rear seat backrest). Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, SEPARATING, REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Cut the wire -3- off directly at the old rear seat backrest heating element -2-.

The old rear seat backrest heating element remains on the cushion -1- and the new rear seat backrest heating element is bonded over it.
