Driver/Front Passenger Backrest Heating Element -Z7- / -Z9-, Removing And Installing, Bucket Seat: Installing

-- Align the new heating elements on the backrest surface.

CAUTION:

Make sure the new backrest heating element is affixed to the old heating element.
Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.
When removing the protective films, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

-- Remove the protective film and adhere the new heating elements -1, 2, 3 and 4- to the same positions on the cushion as the old heating elements.

-- Run connecting lines -A- without tension to the upper backrest heating element along the base of the gaps.

-- Run the connecting wires loosely to the backrest bolsters along the base of the gaps.
