-- Remove the cover with the cushion. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER SPORT SEAT .
-- Separate the cover from the cushion. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, SEPARATING, SUPER SPORT SEAT .
-- Cut the wire -3- off directly at the old backrest heating element -2-.
NOTE:
The old backrest heating element remains on the cushion -1- and the new backrest heating element is bonded over it.
