Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Bucket Seat: Removing

-- Remove the backrest. Refer to FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BUCKET SEAT .

-- Remove the seat belt guide outer sections. Refer to SEAT BELT GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Starting at the bottom, pry the clamping strip for the backrest cover out of the guide on the backrest, using for example, an awl -arrow- ; lightly press together the backrest cushion to release the tension on the backrest cover.

-- Pry the clamping strip at the edge of the backrest cover out from around the guide on the backrest.

In the bends, the clamping strip is also secured by clips. Carefully remove the clips.

-- Pull out the lower retaining strip -2- on the module carrier -1-.

-- Disengage the clamping strip -1- from the brackets -arrow- on the backrest cushion and loosen the Velcro fastener -3- on the backrest cushion -2-.

-- Remove the backrest cover.

-- Tilt the backrest bolster inward -arrow A- and disengage the backrest bolster adjuster -1- at the retaining bracket -3- on the backrest -arrow B-.

-- Free up the pneumatic hose -2- for backrest bolster adjuster on the backrest shell by removing the adhesive tape -1-.

-- Disconnect the pneumatic hose at the Y-piece -3- and free it up on the left side by removing the adhesive tape -4-.

-- Remove the backrest cushion with the backrest bolster adjuster from the backrest shell.
