Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the tail lamps. Refer to TAIL LAMPS .

-- If equipped on vehicles through MY 2011, disconnect connector -1- from the Parking Aid Control Module -J446-.

-- Free up the electrical wiring harness on the control module bracket -arrow- by disconnect the cable tie -2-.

-- Press the grommet -3- outward.

-- For vehicles from MY 2012, disconnect the central connector -1-.

-- Press the grommet -2- outward.

-- Remove the nut -2- with Body Socket:T40078 .

-- Remove the bolts -1- on the lower bumper cover section.

-- Loosen the bumper cover locking mechanism -3- by turning the clamping bolt counter-clockwise.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -1- on the bumper side walls.

-- Disengage the left and right bumper side walls on the side panel -arrow-.

-- Remove the bumper cover -2-. The parking aid sensor electrical wire must be guided out through the body opening.

-- Free up the electrical wiring harness spiral clip.

NOTE:

Use a soapy solution if necessary make removal easier.
