Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR .

-- Remove the front luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR .

-- Remove the rear lid end trim panel. Refer to LOCK CARRIER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the tie down. Refer to TIE DOWN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove The Luggage Compartment Lamp. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMP -W3-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the release lever for the rear seat backrest and let it hang with the release cable still connected. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST LOCKING MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the convertible top until the displayed position of the top and the convertible top compartment cover is reached.

-- Support the convertible top with a suitable wood rod.

-- Push the variable convertible top compartment enclosure trim -1- upward until it engages -arrow A-.

-- Unclip the variable convertible top compartment enclosure -2- on the luggage compartment side trim panel -arrows B-.

-- Remove the expanding clip -2- with the :80 - 200  .

-- Pry the luggage compartment side trim panel -1- using the :80 - 200  from the body -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the reed sensor connector and remove the luggage compartment side trim panel.
