Drive Axle: Removing

-- Loosen the connection between the drive axle and wheel hub. Refer to THREADED CONNECTION BETWEEN DRIVE AXLE AND WHEEL HUB, LOOSENING AND TIGHTENING .

-- Remove the wheel.

-- Remove coil spring. Refer to COIL SPRING .

-- Remove the rear mufflers and brackets. Refer to appropriate service information. .

-- Remove rear final drive. Refer to OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW-FWD]OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW] or OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW-FWD]OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW] .

Only Applies to the Left Drive Axle

-- Install the tensioning strap -1-. Install the bolt -2- and tighten by hand.

-- Release the connector -5- from the left rear level control system sensor -G76- and remove it.

-- Unclip the wiring harness -4-, if applicable.

-- Remove the rear speed sensor -1-. Remove bolt -2- to do so.

-- Remove the drive axle toward the inside.
