Drive Axle: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

Drive axle tightening specifications, refer to DRIVE AXLE OVERVIEW, WITH 88 MM DIAMETER OUTER CV JOINT AND 100 MM DIAMETER INNER CV JOINT .

Drive axle tightening specifications, refer to DRIVE AXLE OVERVIEW, WITH 100 MM DIAMETER OUTER CV JOINT AND 108 MM DIAMETER INNER CV JOINT .

-- Install rear final drive. Refer to OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW-FWD]OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW] or OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW-FWD]OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE [0AW] .

-- Install the rear muffler and brackets. Refer to appropriate service information. .

-- Install the fuel tank tensioning strap. Refer toappropriate service information. .

-- Install coil spring. Refer to COIL SPRING .

-- Install the rear speed sensor. Refer to RIGHT/LEFT REAR ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR -G44- / -G46-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Tighten wheel. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .

-- Tighten the drive axle to wheel hub threaded connection. Refer to THREADED CONNECTION BETWEEN DRIVE AXLE AND WHEEL HUB, LOOSENING AND TIGHTENING .
