Check Valve, Removing And Installing, Except RS 5: Installing

CAUTION:

Make sure the check valve is installed correctly. The arrow on the valve points in the direction of the pump.

Valve must allow air to flow in direction of arrow.

the arrow indicates the direction of the vacuum pump.

-- Slide the vacuum hose on the left and right onto the check valve -4-.

NOTE:

For easier installation, moisten the vacuum hose with water.

-- Slide the new clamp over the vacuum hose.

-- Slide the vacuum hose onto the pump.

-- Close the hose clamp with pliers.
