Left Cylinder Head Cover, Removing And Installing: Installing

Tightening specifications. Refer to Figure.

Install in reverse order of removal while Noting The Following:

NOTE:

Replace the O-ring.

If the cylinder head cover gasket is damaged, replace it.

Replace the cylinder head cover bolts when replacing the damaged seal.

-- Clean the sealing surfaces; they must be free of oil and grease.

-- Tighten the left cylinder head cover bolts. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the ignition coils. Refer to Ignition Coils with Power Output Stages --, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect and secure the high voltage cables.

-- Re-energize the high voltage system. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL WARNINGS .
