Cylinder Head Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the ignition coils with power output stage. Refer to IGNITION COILS WITH POWER OUTPUT STAGES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the intake manifold upper section. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

Seal the intake ports in the intake manifold and in cylinder head with clean cloths.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and bracket -A-.

-- Free up the rear electric wires on the cylinder head and remove the cable bracket -A- from the cover.

-- Remove the crankcase housing ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.

-- Loosen the cylinder head cover bolts starting from the inside and working toward the outside -17 through 1-.

-- Remove the bolts and the cylinder head cover.
