Head Curtain Airbag, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Install in reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

There is a test strip on the head curtain airbag. The test strip must be visible over the entire length after installation. Twisting is not permissible!

WARNING:

After clipping on the head curtain airbag, make sure the clips on both sides are securely engaged.

Clamps Latched on Both Sides

Clamps Latched on One Side

-- Latch the clips on both sides.

Clamp not Latched

-- Latch the clips on both sides.

-- Switch the ignition on.

WARNING:

Make sure that no persons are in the vehicle.

-- Connect the battery. Refer to BATTERY .
