Plenum Chamber Cover: Removing

-- Remove wiper arms. Refer to WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM .

-- Remove the seal -5- from the entire length of the plenum chamber cover -1 and 2-.

CAUTION:

The windshield -7- could break.

Do not use a screwdriver or a wedge to pry off the plenum chamber cover -1 and 2-. The windshield will be damaged and could crack later.

-- Lift the plenum chamber covers -1 and 2- by hand at the edge of the windshield.

-- Starting at the edge of the windshield -7- and working up, remove the plenum chamber covers -1 and 2- from the retainer -6-.

-- Lift the rear end of the plenum chamber cover in direction of -arrow a- and guide around the hinge -3-.

-- Press the plenum chamber cover inward in direction of -arrow b- to detach the guides -4- from the fender.

-- Pull the plenum chamber covers -1 and 2- forward in direction of -arrow c- and remove from the vehicle.
