Oil Pump, Removing And Installing, From VIN CAUA 003 686: Removing

Transmission removed. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Remove the spur gear unit. Refer to SPUR GEAR DRIVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the coolant pump. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil pan lower section. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the coolant pump driveshaft -arrow- from the oil pump.

-- Place the :SMN372500 under the engine and leave it there for the following steps.

NOTE:

Oil Escapes When Removing Oil Pipes.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the oil tube.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the intake tube.

Remove the oil tube together with the oil check valve housing.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the oil pump.
