Oil Pan Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

Transmission removed. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Remove the lower timing chain cover. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR .

-- Remove the bolt -arrows- and the generator bracket.

-- Remove the oil pump: through VIN CAUA 003 685 (Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, THROUGH VIN CAUA 003 685 ), from VIN CAUS 003 686 (Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FROM VIN CAUA 003 686 ).

-- Tighten the oil pan upper section bolts -1 through 7- in a diagonal sequence.

-- Loosen the oil pan upper section carefully from the adhesive then push it off the alignment sleeves and remove it.
