Overview - Noise Insulation, Except AUDI RS5

Front Noise Insulation
- Noise Insulation
- Removing:
- The front wheel spoiler is removed. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL SPOILER .
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and remove the noise insulation toward the rear under the bumper.
- When installing, slide the front noise insulation in under the bumper.
- Bolt
- 5 Nm
- Quantity: 2
- Quick Release
- Rotate 180° to the left to remove.
- When installing, the connection must engage when rotating.
- Washer
- Rear Noise Insulation
- Lock Carrier
Rear Noise Insulation
- Rear Noise Insulation
- Loosen the 3 rear quick-release fasteners on the noise insulation.
- Loosen the quick-release fasteners -6- and remove the noise insulation toward the rear.
- Crossbrace
- Transmission Crossmember
- Spring Nut
- Slide into the transmission crossmember as shown.
- Washer
- Quick Release
- Rotate 180° to the left to remove.
- When installing, the connection must engage when rotating.
- Spring Nut
- Slide sideways into the crossbrace.
