Seat Pan Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Seat Pan With Seat Depth Adjuster: Removing

Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

-- Remove The Front Seat:

For the manual sport seat. Refer To FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL .
Power Sport seat. Refer To FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, POWER .
For the super sport seat. Refer To FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, POWER .

-- Attach the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture:VAS6136 . Refer To FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove The Front Backrest:

For the manual sport seat. Refer To FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD SEAT/SPORT SEAT/SUPER SPORT SEAT .
Power Sport seat FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, POWER STANDARD SEAT .
For the super sport seat. Refer To FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD SEAT/SPORT SEAT/SUPER SPORT SEAT .

-- Remove The Sill Side Trim Retaining Bracket.

For the manual sport seat. Refer To SILL SIDE TRIM RETAINING BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL STANDARD SEAT, SPORT SEAT, SUPER SPORT SEAT .
Power sport seat and super sport seat. Refer To SILL SIDE TRIM RETAINING BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, POWER STANDARD SEAT .

-- Versions with LATCH (passenger seat only): Remove the LATCH. Refer To FRONT CHILD SEAT ANCHOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat depth adjuster as far as the stop.

-- Unclip the catches -2-.

-- Tilt the support with the cushion and cover -1- for the seat depth adjustment upward in the direction of the -arrow- so that the catches remain disengaged.

-- Remove support -1- with seat depth adjustment cushion and cover -2- up and forward at an angle.

NOTE:

The Illustration Does Not Show The Seat Pan Lower Frame.

-- Disengage tabs -3- from openings -5- on seat depth adjustment lower section -4-.

-- Unclip the clamping profile -1 and 2- for the cover and cushion -4- across and at the sides from the catches -3-.

-- Disengage the cover retaining channels -3- is the side areas -A- of the seat pan upper frame.

-- When disengaging the retaining channels, be careful of the exposed retaining hooks -1- on the edge -2-.

-- Disengage tab retaining channels -1- at both sides of the seat pan -3-.

LATCH Child Seat Anchor -2- Removed.

-- Disengage The Cover Retaining Channels -6- In The Area -A-.

-- When Disengaging The Cover, Be Careful Of The Exposed Hooks -4- On The Edge -5-.

-- Remove The Cover With Padding From The Seat Pan And Seat Depth Adjuster.

The Seat Depth Adjuster Support (Plastic) Remains On The Padding.
