Headrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Insert the cushion -1- into the cover -2-.

-- Insert the headrest mount in the padding with the cover.

Main Lock, Closing

-- Fold the upper flat channel -1- down.

-- Slide the edge of the fabric with the flat channel -1- into the U-channel -5-.

Side Locks, Closing

-- Closing the side locks is similar to the closing the main lock.

After Closing The Main And Side Locks

-- Using a needle or a tool with a point, align the cover and the channels.

-- Make sure the cover lies on the padding without any wrinkles and without seam markings.

-- With manual headrests, install the height adjustment release button.

-- Insert the release button through the cover and the upholstery into the headrest support.

-- Be careful of the release button/headrest support locking device.

-- The tab -arrow A- on the release button -1- must align with the slit -arrow B- in the button mount on the headrest support -2-.

-- Clip the release button -1- into the headrest support -2-.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

WARNING:

Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer To SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, connecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

NOTE:

Make Sure The Connectors Are Installed Correctly And Are Secure.

WARNING:

Ignition Must Be On When Connecting Battery. If Pyrotechnic Components (For Example, Airbag, Belt Tensioner) Are Not Repaired Correctly, They May Deploy Unintentionally After Connecting Battery. There Must Not Be Anyone Inside The Vehicle When Connecting The Battery.

-- Connect The Battery Ground Cable With The Ignition Turned On. Refer To BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

NOTE:

If The Airbag Indicator Lamp -K75- Indicates A Fault, Check The DTC Memory, Erase It And Check It Again Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
