Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Bucket Seat: Removing

-- Remove the backrest. Refer To FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BUCKET SEAT .

-- Remove the outer belt guide parts. Refer To SEAT BELT GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Starting at the bottom, pry the grip channel for the backrest cover out of the guide at the backrest, using for example, an awl in direction of -arrow- ; lightly press together the backrest upholstery in order to release the strain on the backrest cover.

-- Pry The Retaining Strip At The Edge Of The Backrest Cover Out From Around The Guide On The Backrest.

• In The Bends, The Grip Channel Is Also Secured By Clips. Carefully Remove The Clips.

-- Pull out lower retaining strip -2- on module carrier -1-.

-- Detach retaining strip -1- from the holders -arrow- at the backrest cushion and detach Velcro fastener -3- at backrest cushion -2-.

-- Remove the backrest cover.

-- Tilt the backrest bolster inward in direction of -arrow A- and detach backrest bolster inflation adjuster -1- at retaining bracket -3- of the backrest in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Expose pneumatic hose -2- for backrest bolster inflation adjustment at the backrest shell. Remove adhesive tape -1- for this purpose.

-- Disconnect the pneumatic hose at Y-connector -3- and expose it on the left side. Remove adhesive tape -4- for this purpose.

-- Remove the backrest cushion with the backrest bolster inflation adjuster from the backrest shell.
