High-Mounted Brake Lamp Bulb -M25-, Removing And Installing, SPORTBACK: Installing

Tightening Specification. Refer to Figure.

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

NOTE:

If LED's Are Malfunctioning, High-Mount Brake Light Must Be Completely Replaced.

-- Remove Any Adhesive.

-- Clean the adhesive surface using Cleaning Solution:D 009 401 04 .

-- Pull the protective film off the self-adhesive seals -4- and press them onto the surface.

The small seals -1- and -3- go on the outside and large seal -2- goes in the middle.

-- Remove the protective film -5- from the self-adhesive seals.

-- Install the high-mounted brake lamp into the rear lid.

-- Tighten the bolts. Refer to Figure.

-- Connect the electrical connector -A-.

-- Push the rubber lip under the rear window using the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 .

-- Install the rear lid trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / LOWER REAR LID TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
