Rear Seat Backrest Locking Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer To SEAT BENCH/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the backrest. Refer To REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the headrests. Refer To HEADREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cover with the padding:

• Refer To COVER AND PADDING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR SEAT BACKREST WITH PASS-THROUGH .
• Refer To COVER AND PADDING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR SEAT BACKREST WITH REAR SEAT BACKREST FRAME OR STORAGE COMPARTMENT .

-- Remove The Bolts -3- (Quantity: 2).

-- Remove the lock -2- from the backrest shell -1-.

-- Detach the cable bracket -1- from the locking mechanism -2-.

-- Detach the nipple on the release cable from the release tab -3-.

-- Remove the lock.

-- Remove the support plate -1- on the locking mechanism -2-.

-- To do this, push the support plate upward in direction of -arrow A-, tilt it outward in direction of -arrow B- and remove it downward in direction of -arrow C-.

-- Detach the cable bracket -4- from the locking mechanism -3-.

-- Detach the nipple -1- on the release cable from the release tab -2-.

-- Remove The Lock.
