-- Remove the rear cross panel trim. Refer to LOCK CARRIER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (AVANT) .

-- Remove the rear tie-down. Refer to TIE DOWN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3- and then remove the retaining track -1-.
