Turbocharger Vacuum Diaphragm, Replacing: Installing: Notes

Use new bolts and a new circlip from the repair kit.

Version 1:

Fig 1: Identifying Vacuum Hose, Locking Ring And Vacuum Diaphragm Bolts

-- Engage the control rod in the adjustment lever, install the vacuum diaphragm and install the bolts -1- all the way by hand.

-- Install the circlip -4-.

-- Connect the connector -3- on the Charge Air Pressure Actuator Position Sensor -G581-.

Version 2:

-- Engage the control rod on the adjusting lever, set the vacuum diaphragm in place and tighten the bolts -3- by hand.

-- Install the circlip -4-.

-- Connect the connector -2- on the Charge Air Pressure Actuator Position Sensor -G581-.
