High Pressure Reservoir (Fuel Rail), Removing And Installing: Removing

• Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions when working on the fuel supply system. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the high pressure line between the high pressure reservoir (rail) and the high pressure pump. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the fuel return hose -1-.

-- Open the hose clamps -arrows-, and unclip and remove the catch -2-.

-- Disconnect the connectors:

1  - For Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-

3  - For Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-

-- Loosen the clamp -4- and remove the fuel return hose.

-- Remove the high pressure lines union nuts -2-.

-- Remove the high pressure lines and lay on a clean cloth.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the high pressure reservoir.
