Engine And Transmission, Separating, Vehicles With DSG Transmission 0CW: Procedure

- Engine/transmission assembly removed and mounted on Engine Support:T10497 .
-- Removing starter. Refer to STARTER .
-- Free up the wires from the bracket -arrow-.
-- Secure the transmission using the Engine/Gearbox Support Shackle (2 pc.):10-222A/12 on the Shop Crane:VAS6100 .
-- Remove the bolts -1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8- that connect the transmission to the engine.
NOTE:
The bolt -3- is located in the starter opening.
Ignore items -2 and A-.
-- Remove the transmission from the engine.
