Engine, Supporting In Installed Position

• Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 4:10-222A/4 
• Engine Support Bridge - Spindle:10-222A/11 
• Engine Support:10-222A/31A 
• :T40091/3  from the Engine Support - Basic Set:T40091 
• :T40093/3-5  from the Engine Support Supplement Kit:T40093A 
• :T40150/4  from the Engine Support Bracket:T40150

-- If the :10-222A/4  does not have the indicated holes -arrow- shown they must be added.

• Dimension -a- = 225 mm.
• Hole diameter= 12.5 mm

PROCEDURE

-- Remove windshield wiper arms -arrows-. Refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM .

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover -5-. Refer to BULKHEAD .

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Expose the vacuum hoses -arrows-.

-- Loosen the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air guide pipe.

-- Remove caps above the front suspension strut bolted connections.

-- Place the :10-222A/31-1  and :10-222A/31-2  on the suspension strut mounts.

• The ribs -arrow- faces the direction of travel.

-- Position the :10-222A/4  with the :T40091/3  as shown in the illustration.

-- Install the additional tools on the left in the engine compartment as illustrated.

-- Attach the left :10-222A/11  carabiner hook to the engine lifting eye -arrow-.

ASSEMBLING 

Assembly is performed in the reverse order of disassembly, noting the following:

-- Install the plenum chamber cover. Refer to BULKHEAD .

-- Install the windshield wiper arms. Refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
