Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bracket -2- with the fuel hoses.

-- Open the retainers with a screwdriver in direction of -arrow-, set aside the coolant reservoir.

-- Free up the bracket -3- with the fuel hoses.

-- Remove the nut -2- and the bolts -1-.

-- Set the fuel filter -4- aside.

-- Remove windshield wiper arms. Refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM .

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover -5-. Refer to BULKHEAD .

-- Remove caps above the front suspension strut bolted connections.

-- Place the :10-222A/31-2  on the suspension strut mounts.

• The ribs -arrow- faces the direction of travel.

-- Position the :10-222A/4  with :T40091/3  as shown in the illustration.

-- Install the additional tools on the right in the engine compartment as illustrated.

-- Secure the :10-222A/12  on right engine lifting eye.

-- Attach the right :10-222A/11  carabiner hook to the engine lifting eye.

-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and engine mount -1-.
